The murder of the former Fujimorista Óscar Medeliusregistered last Monday in broad daylight in Carabayllo, it is not yet clear but there are clues that lead to the possible cause: a dispute over mining activities.
The evidence to consider this hypothesis, which is managed by the police, appeared in the same crime scene. Medelius, Montesinista operator in the 90s, was the victim of motorcycle hitmen with Lourdes Fernández and Juan Huidobro García. All boarded a vehicle on University Avenue.
According to Sunarp, the former congressman and Huidobro arrived in 2014, and at the same time, the company D&H General contractors SAC, which in 1999 founded Delia Hidalgo Sifuentes and Laura Mendoza Hidalgo.
The company was established to dedicate itself to transport and construction in mining activity. Óscar Medelius and Juan Huidobro – who had complaints for fraud, money laundering and tax fraud – were granted power to represent the firm and dispose of their properties.
Three years later, in 2017, Medelius Rodríguez resigned as Operations Manager and in the same statement before Sunarp, D&H General Contractors Sac communicated that Lourdes Fernández Fernández became his administration manager.
Of the three, only Fernández survived the attack, although it has serious injuries in the arm and neck.
The crossing with the Aybar Cancho
In the Reinfo records, where informal miners that seek to formalize, D&H General Contractors SAC appear as head of the mining right named “Cristopher accumulation”, a land of 580 hectares located in Carabayllo.
In addition, it is found that the code of that extension is 010000209L and the ownership, in charge of the aforementioned company, is “in force”. This is where the conflict occurs.
In the same reinfill it is appreciated that Bricani Aybar Cancho is in charge of 12 mining properties, and one of them is “Cristopher accumulation”. The same space as D&H General Contractors SAC. However, the ownership of Aybar Cancho appears “suspended.”
Bgralandi is the brother of José Luis and Luis Frank Aybar Cancho, two well -known operators of the dark exassor Vladimiro Montesinos committed in illegal arms trafficking to the FARC of Colombia.
In 2020, Juan Miguel Huidobro García denounced the usurpation of a mining concession precisely in the district of Carabayllo. The aggravated usurpation complaint dates from November 24, 2020, and narrates how, on the afternoon of the previous day, on November 23, “approximately 50 people invaded a land of the quarry known as Quebrada (…), Within the mining concession called Christopher Cantera in Carabayllo. ”
While Medelius, who was a lawyer for the dreaded drug trafficker Gerson Gálvez ‘Caracol’, no longer worked in D&H roles, he did it with omero SAC where Lourdes Fernández was a deputy manager.
And, also, with Juan Huidobro, the three were linked to the company La Universal SAC, whose vehicle where the homicide was committed was in his name.
The Prosecutor’s Office and the PNP are already behind the murderers.
