Recommendations in the event of a blackout
In the event of a scheduled blackout, it is recommended to disconnect electrical appliances to prevent them from being damaged. If you have a generator, you must make sure you know how it works properly and avoid any accidents. Locate a suitable place for its installation (outdoors, away from windows and doors) and take into account prevention measures against carbon monoxide.
Because the massive blackout is planned during the day and will last a few hours, the population is recommended to call 071 to confirm the restoration of electrical service and avoid any incident.
