The method that revolutionizes the way of learning several languages: how it works

The method that revolutionizes the way of learning several languages: how it works

Víctor Babiloni Carmona, better known as ‘Víctor Políglota’, is a Spaniard who broke with the traditional schemes for learning languages. When he was 27 years old, after a long time trying to improve his pronunciation and vocabulary, he migrated to Ireland for four months. He managed to learn thanks to immersion.

Then, he traveled through different European regions. He was in Italy, France, Germany and Poland. ANDThese experiences allowed him tosurrenderr “languages naturally and use them in real life situations”he commented.

Thanks to your experiences, He began to share his technique on social networks and little by little he consolidated a business project, which has now been in operation for more than a year and in which it offers people personalized plans that adapt to the specific needs so that those interested achieve their objectives.

Portafolio spoke with the creator of this initiative about the key points for learning languages, as well as his progress in his project.

What is different about your proposal compared to traditional offers?

I tell people that a language is not studied, a language is lived. When I tell people to live languages it means that they don’t have to learn languages after going one or two hours a week to take a course, what they have to do is start introducing it into their life day after day.

That is, start making the language part of your daily habits. For example, starting to change the way you consume content, music, television, everything that you naturally do on a daily basis should be an activity developed in that language you want to learn.

What shouldn’t a person do if they want to learn English?

The problem currently is that people focus only on theory and consider that they learn languages by taking exams, studying grammatical rules and it is very good to know grammar, but the way to acquire it is through practice and it is through immersion. daily.

Now, I don’t consider that anything should be discarded, what I consider is that people have to understand what the function of a class is, what the function is of going to take lessons and what the function is of studying grammar. You are going to resolve doubts, you are going to clarify concepts, you are going to have certain language issues explained to you, but in a class you are not going to get your brain to adapt to the natural communication process, that requires work. daily and constant immersion.

What do you offer to those interested in learning a language?

It is a specific and personalized plan for each person to distribute their time and activities based on their needs.

First, I know the people. I ask them about: their available time, their motivation, the approaches they have had with the language, the reasons why they believe they have not learned. Therefore, I do not divide a language by A1 B1 C1 C2, but I adapt it to the person. What I do is act as an advisor to guide you from start to finish so that you achieve your goals, but of course, obviously each person is different and that is what I focus on.

What has been the scope of your business?

Since I started over a year ago, I have worked with over a thousand people and through my guidance I have impacted over four or five thousand people.

Interested people could visit my social networks searching for Víctor polyglot and can read the comments of people who work with my method to get an idea of the impact.
In general, what I tell people, I cannot sell miracles or magic. This in the end is a process. I can show you the way, I can teach you what you have to do or how you have to do it, but it is the person who has to become aware and who has to work and put everything into practice.

What investment have you made for the business?

Regarding the investment, I started with zero because I was living in Poland walking a dog so I could have a roof over my head, but then I started uploading content to social networks, I went viral on TikTok after two weeks or 10 days. From that moment on I had to invest much more time. Now I dedicate my life to this project. So it’s more of an investment in time, what I do is make the most of the possibility of creating digital content and monetizing it.

What are the plans to grow the business?

The goal is for the team to grow in the future, for now I only have the help of one person from Colombia. We are proposing new scenarios, but for the moment today I continue. The expectation is to improve my products and services. There is always room for improvement.

How is the demand for your services?

Currently, I am giving advice to people who want to learn English, Italian, French and German. However, I work mainly with Latin Americans who live in different parts of the world. Normally, the objective of these people is to change their life, they are looking to improve their work situation or simply people who are in Latin American countries, but who need to learn English to find a better job or because they are looking to migrate.
About the language, 90% of people want to learn English.

How can interested parties contact you?

You can write to me directly on all my social networks (Tik Tok and Instagram) to request information or in the link in my bio you can find free content such as vocabulary guides, guides to prepare for job interviews in English, free content beyond the options such as my mentorships. In general, you can send me a private message with confidence and we will be talking.
