SANTO DOMINGO.- President Luis Abinader and First Lady Raquel Arbaje sent a message to the population this Thursday on the occasion of the New Year, where they wished a 2023 of love, hope, health and success.

In a video posted on the President’s Twitter account, Abinader and Arbaje called on the population to continue working together for a better country.

Abinader expressed that 2022 was a year of great adversity, but also of many successes, achievements, and recovery “that have been the result of our efforts and yours, who are undoubtedly the best and greatest asset of the Dominican Republic.” ”.

“2023 will be a year in which we will consolidate much of what we have been doing these two years, it will be a year in which we will show that we can go much further and that few things are impossible,” he said in the video.

On her side, Raquel Arbaje urged everyone to continue working together for a better country for all, promoting young people, supporting Dominican families and helping the elderly.

“We welcome the arrival of a new year with enthusiasm, for the opportunities that will come and prepared to face any adversity,” he stressed.

Abinader concluded by saying that all Dominicans count so that in the new year they continue working together, as a team, “and we achieve a better and more prosperous Dominican Republic.”
