The discussion table of the national teaching joint will resume this Friday afternoon when the Minister of Education, Jaime Perczyk, receives again the representatives of the five main unions in the sector, it was officially reported.
According to the official agenda, the meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Sarmiento Palace, located at 935 Pizzurno Street, headquarters of the Education portfolio.
The first national joint discussion meeting took place last Thursday where the positions were heard, but there was no concrete proposal and it was passed to an intermediate room.

The five national unions participated in the discussion: the Confederation of Education Workers of the Argentine Republic (Ctera), the Argentine Union of Private Teachers (Sadop), the Union of Argentine Teachers (UDA), the Association of Technical Education Teachers (Amet) and the Confederation of Argentine Educators (CEA).
Among the demands of the union organizations, there is a salary increase that exceeds inflation with permanent review, the elimination of the Income Tax, continue with the elaboration of the Collective Agreement of the sector, a new law of Educational Financing and a bigger budget.

Meanwhile, the salary negotiation in the city of Buenos Aires went to an intermediate room on Thursday after the union leaders rejected the offer of the ministry headed by Soledad Acuña, in the framework of a second meeting.
In that framework, Buenos Aires unions rejected the proposal for a 60% increase in six installments: 10% in March, 5% in May, 15% in June, 5% in August, 10% in October and 15% in December.
“We demand an increase that beats inflation, with a permanent review clause and immediate reopening of the table,” they remarked from the social networks of the Union of Education Workers (UTE).
In addition, they demanded “the need for a new educational ticket in the face of the increase in public transportation for teachers and students, and the creation of new teaching positions and schools.”
While, Ademys also expressed his rejection of the proposal and insisted on reaching “a 100% increase per chargeto earn a salary equal to the basic family basket per position stipulated at $250,000, indexation for inflation and all amounts to the basic”.
Next Wednesday, February 22, Ademys is going to hold an assembly where they will define “measures to be taken” in rejection of joint meetings.
