The Mayor’s Office finalizes the cleaning and fumigation of the cemeteries so that they are ready for the population to visit the graves of their deceased, from this monday. During this day, the cemeteries will remain closed so that the cleaning teams they focus on the removal of rubble and garbage, product of the repairs made by relatives to niches and mausoleums.

This Saturday ended the deadline set by the Mayor’s Office for the arrangement of the niches and tombstones. Today, before the claim of some people who came to the Sacred Heart of Jesus cemetery (La Cuchilla) entry was allowed for only two hours.

The Cemeteries Operating Unit reported that this Monday cemeteries will open their doors on schedule normal, but on November 1 and 2 they will do it in extended hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The festivity of All Saints and All Souls’ Day is expected to take place in an atmosphere of tranquility and silence, for which measures have been arranged, as the Prohibition of food, water containers, music with amplification, bands and alcoholic beverages to the cemeteries.

The municipal secretary of Health, Adriana Amelunge, reported that medical brigades will also travel to the cemeteries to control biosecurity and perform nasal antigen tests.
