The 2.8 million balboas that were invested for the Christmas parade, to be held next Sunday, December 11, will serve to reactivate the economy, as stated by the capital’s municipality through a statement in which they detailed the reason for certain irregularities in the dates of presentation of documents and approval of the event.
They also indicated that with the parade, they will generate some 600 temporary opportunities for small entrepreneurs to sell their products.
According to the Municipality, the Municipal Council approved the direct contracting for the Christmas parade through the
agreement 186, of September 27, 2022.
Then the Mayor’s Administration presented the documentation to the Economic Council
National on October 14, 2022, which gave its approval on October 27.
Finally, the contract was signed on November 7, 2022 and was presented to the Comptroller for endorsement.
