The mayor of Santa Cruz, Jhonny Fernández, argued for the dismissal of 500 health professionals from the Municipality, indicating that it was the State Comptroller General’s Office that observed these contracts. He stated that there are several contracts that have not met the requirements of current regulations.

The complaint
On Tuesday, the Federation of Unions of Medical Branches of Public Health (Fesirmes) denounced the possibility of a ‘white massacre’ in the Municipality, with more than 500 dismissals of health professionals.

He also described it as a lack of organization and seriousness that the Human Resources Department “lost these documents.”
This Wednesday, the Santa Cruz Medical College met with Fesirmes to address this issue.
“These dismissals, carried out by the Autonomous Municipal Government of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, They occur despite the fact that health professionals complied with the delivery of all requirements established by the Human Resources Department, within the corresponding deadlines,” they indicated.
