The Romerías de Mayo festival begins today in Holguín with a program that contains more than 16 collateral events, concerts, exhibitions and talks, among other activities.
The organizing committee announced for tonight the presentation of the Holguín Symphony Orchestra and its guests at the Eddy Suñol theater with the program Sound Heritage 2023.
Then there will be a parade of cars that will travel along Avenida de Los Libertadores to the Bosque de los Héroes. There you can attend a concert by singer-songwriter Frank Delgado.
The director of the provincial sector of Culture, Rachel García, said that this edition will have moments of luxury, such as the recital by Raúl Paz together with lyrical singers from Holguín.
He also announced the performances of other performers, including David Blanco, Ray Fernández, Eduardo Sosa, Luis Barbería, Karamba, Nolberto Leyva and Raúl Prieto.
Another of the activities is the personal exhibition Memoryfrom the National Prize for Plastic Arts Lesbia Vent Dumois, who will also be part of the panel Mural painting and its expression in contemporaneity.
This edition of the Romerías is dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the birth of José Martí, to the fourth congress of the Hermanos Saiz Association and to the people and culture of Mexico.
