After a meeting of its bench with the country’s leaders, the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) ratified Andrónico Rodríguez and Freddy Mamani on Friday as presidents of the Senate and Deputy Chambers, respectively, for the 2021-2022 legislature.
This was confirmed by Mamani minutes after his bench gave him its support to occupy the highest position of Deputies for the second consecutive year.
“We want to give the good news to the Bolivian people, once again I have been elected by our brother deputies from all over the Plurinational State of Bolivia, in that sense, what corresponds is to thank each one of them and at the same time have the firm and serious commitment to continue working for our country, “he said.

The legislator attributed his ratification to an evaluation of his work during the first year of his tenure as president of the Chamber of Deputies.
After the Todos Santos holiday, on November 3, the Plurinational Legislative Assembly will close the 2020-2021 period and, in the meantime, the three forces -MAS, Citizen Community (CC) and Creemos- promote the reorganization of the chamber directives, benches , brigades, commissions and committees.
