The march of high school students was stopped by Carabineros before reaching La Moneda

In a new day of demonstrations carried out by high school students, hundreds of students made a short march that was stopped just before reaching the Alameda by Carabineros personnel, where clashes took place between the protesters and the police force.

In what was called the “backpack”, hundreds of students gathered near the Application Liceo, specifically in Ricardo Cumming with Alameda, to march along this last avenue heading east, lasting only a couple of blocks.

In the midst of the clashes, unknown individuals launched fireworks, while police officers used force to dissuade the protesters who kept traffic cut off in the Alameda.
