The Mantaro Valley and the Huaytapallana are the most visited in National Holidays

The main tourist destinations that visitors preferred during these National Holidays are the Mantaro Valley and the Huaytapallana snow-capped mountain. The sale of tourist packages tripled for these festive dates, according to some tourism agencies.

National and foreign tourists had as their main point of visit the so-called Valle Vip package, which consists of visiting districts such as Ingenio, San Jerónimo de Tunán, San Agustín de Cajas (Huancayo), Santa Rosa de Ocopa, Planta Lechera (Concepción) and as the main attraction the Paca lagoon (Jauja), whose value for these National Holidays ranges from 40 soles per person, in the different agencies.

The second most visited tourist place is the Huaytapallana route, which consists of a visit to the areas of pagopu, the viewpoint, the lagoons and a walk through the upper part, in addition to the visit to the entrance of the snow-capped mountain. Like the Valle Vip route, the price for this place starts at 40 soles per person.

Another of the most visited tourist places is the western area of ​​the valley, which is the Wariwillca Museum, Cani Cruz de Chongos Bajo, Arwaturo Archaeological Center and Chupaca Viewpoint.

“This year the visits increased. Per day we serve more than 200 tourists on average”, commented Estéfani from Tour Perú. All these packages are offered from Plaza Constitución. Others chose to go alone to these places.
