The man kidnapped last night in Pedro Juan was shot to death

A prosecutor-police delegation arrested the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Javier Ibarra this afternoon. The man was the victim’s secretary. Before, the murder weapon was found in a house in Loma Pytá.

Óscar Caballero Salman, one of those who worked as ex-prosecutor Javier Ibarra’s secretary in a law firm, He was arrested this Thursday at a home in Zeballos Cue, near the Botanical Garden, prosecutor Julio Ortiz confirmed to Cardinal.

“The day of the event, he arrived on a motorcycle, got off and told the person who took him to look for him in 40 minutes, this person arrived, heard shots and got scared,” said prosecutor Ortiz.

However, the following day they communicated again, and the detainee today handed over the pistol to the person who took him to the house.

Gentleman Salman never showed up in all this time. The closeness with Ibarra was such that he had the key to the house. The man is also linked to arms trafficking, because in Argentina they wanted him for this reason. In 2019, the neighboring government asked Paraguay for help in its capture.

The witness who transported the alleged murderer to Ibarra’s house was surrounded by the authorities and was detained, however, he offered to collaborate and handed over the murder weapon.
