This Tuesday, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted that more than half of the young people registered in the National Income System (SNI) opt for a prioritized career for national development.
The information was offered by the Vice President as part of the balance of the National University Admission System 2023 (SNIU) offered this Tuesday, in which he stressed that the Venezuelan State is prepared for the youth of the Homeland to join the careers that are linked to the National Development Plan.
“It is a transcendental moment for the republic and I know that with these good numbers that the national income system is showing, there is a great majority, more than half who already want to opt for a prioritized career for national development, demonstrates homeland with science in the health, basic science, agronomy, everything that contributes to the development of Venezuela,” said the Executive Vice President.
The statements were made during a meeting with students from the Miguel Antonio Caro Bolivarian High School, in Caracas, in the company of the ministers for University Education, Sandra Oblitas, and Education, Yelitze Santaella.
97 universities will receive students
In the activity carried out with young students, Minister Oblitas stated that there are 97 universities nationwide, which are willing to receive students, 70 of them are publicly managed.
These, detailed the minister, offer 171 training programs so that each of these students can choose their life project and become professionals of the country.
SNI will be active until July 14
During the activity, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez urged the young students to celebrate with responsibility and joy, and to prepare for this new stage that is yet to come.
