The connection with the massacre of the Lora Rincón family and its relationship with alias ‘El Calvo’ are key in the investigation.
News Antioquia.
The murder of Zaida Andrea Sánchez Polanco, known as alias ‘La Diabla’, has generated a deep impact on Medellín and revived the investigations related to the massacre of the Lora Rincón family in Aguachica, Cesar.
This woman, who would have taken refuge in Medellín since January 14, was identified as the main white of hitmen in that tragic event.
Local authorities confirmed that Zaida Sánchez tried to avoid those who had been looking for her for weeks.
The attack on ‘La Diabla’ occurred last Wednesday, January 22 in the Laureles neighborhood, an area known for its commercial and tourist movement.
Sánchez Polanco was approached by two men who mobilized on a motorcycle just when he descended from a high -end truck.
The hitmen repeatedly shot him, thus sealing an episode that unleashed a wave of questions.
Reckoning? The main hypothesis
Manuel Villa, Secretary of Security and Coexistence of Medellín, confirmed that the initial investigations point to an adjustment of accounts such as the mobile of the crime.
«It was linked to investigations for different crimes, such as homicide and theft. At the moment, the main hypothesis is that this homicide, by means of criminal actions, would be an adjustment of accounts«, Said the official.
Although the authorities managed to seize a black motorcycle that, allegedly, used the criminals to flee, the material authors of the event have not yet been identified. The case remains a complex puzzles.
The context of alias ‘La Diabla’ and its link with alias ‘El Calvo’
The violent death of ‘La Diabla’ is not only related to its own criminal history, but also to its sentimental connection with Alexander González Vélez, aka ‘El Calvo’.
González, who was killed in December, was indicated as a member of an active criminal network in Aguachica.
Researchers do not rule out that the recent wave of violence is linked to internal disputes between criminal gangs OA revenge related to these activities.
Shocking details of his murder and a dark past
The violent end of aka ‘La Diabla’ was recorded in a video of security cameras. In the images, Sánchez Polanco is observed, dressed in a white short and a pink blouse, try to desperately escape from his attacker.
However, the hitman shot him several times, making sure he did not survive. This episode, added to its murky history, paints a panorama of a life wrapped in crime and violence.

The massacre of the Lora Rincón family: a possible link
On December 29, 2024, the Lora Rincón family was brutally murdered while having dinner at a restaurant in Aguachica. Among the victims were Pastor Marlon Lora and his daughter Ángela Lora.
One of the most shocking theories is that the hitmen confused Angela with alias ‘La Diabla’, which would add a layer of tragedy and confusion to the case.
The murder of ‘La Diabla’, as well as the massacre in Aguachica, is still under investigation. The authorities seek to clarify if both events are connected and if there are other responsible people involved in this chain of violence that has shocked Colombia.
