The first president of the left will have a delegation of important special guests who will be part of the ceremony in the Plaza de Bolívar. So far, 24 presidents and world leaders have confirmed their attendance.
Among the staked guests is King Philip IV of Spain. Also the president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, with whom Petro is close. In turn, Pedro Castillo, president of Peru, Guillermo Lasso, leader of Ecuador, and Luis Abidaner, president of the Dominican Republic.
Added to this list are the presidents of Paraguay, the Netherlands, Panama, Honduras, Costa Rica and Argentina. For now, Manuel López Obrador, the president of Mexico, said that he will not attend but the first lady, Beatriz Gutiérrez, will. There is still expectation in the case of USA, who doesn’t know if Vice President Kamala Harris will come. However, from the Joe Biden government they have talked about sending a high-ranking delegation.
