As reported by Incat Tasmania, the ferry was designed by the company Revolution Design and has two electric motors, one 5 MW and the other 9.6 MW, housed under the hull, which allow an average speed of 25 knots ( 46 km/h), and sufficient autonomy to travel up to 100 kilometers fully loaded with passengers and vehicles. will have the capacity to transport 2,100 passengers and 226 vehicles.
