The Judiciary will formalize an official who adulterated an old case against Boric

The Judiciary decided to formalize the official, Carolina Roldan Berrios, who is accused of adulterating an old case for simple theft against the President-elect, Gabriel Boric.

The High Complexity prosecutor of the southern zone of the Metropolitan region, Milibor Bugueño, made the request to formalize the defendant for the crime of computer sabotage, as reported Third.

This case was processed by the Punta Arenas Guarantee Court in 2005 and Roldán reactivated it during the presidential campaign.

“For theft against Boric and they replaced the documentation so that it was not known what he had, find out”, this appeared in the document uploaded to the Judiciary on October 27, 2021.

The prosecutor, Juan Agustin Melendez Duplaquet, filed the case by relying on the principle of opportunity.

Through Twitter, Boric had referred to the cause in 2015: “At 19 years old I made the mistake of not paying for a promo. I was caught and detained accordingly. The UDI compares it to the Penta case”

During this week, a document was entered in the San Bernardo Guarantee Court by the regional prosecutor Hector Barros.

The court set the formalization hearing against Carolina Roldán for April 28.
