The journalist and poet Nicolás Yerovi died today at the age of 73, his daughter Paloma reported through her Instagram account. The family had reported that he was in poor health.

Nicolás Yerovi is remembered as a Peruvian poet, journalist, playwright, novelist and graphic humorist. Grandson of the Peruvian poet Leonidas Yerovi. The family confirmed the death of the writer and publisher of the magazine ‘Monos y monadas’, which was founded by his grandfather.
“It is with such sadness that I inform you that Nicolas Yerovi, my father, died today. As soon as I have details of the wake, I will let you know.”reads the publication.
Among his works we have: Beyond the aroma (2000), The house of so many (2001), Yerovi’s Peru: The Legend of Monos and Monadas (2006) and Titina (Theater) Comedy in eight-syllable verse.
