The most recent reports from the National Administrative Department of Statistics have shown that the inflation during 2022 it has reached highs not seen for several years. Which has represented for Colombians, the increase in the prices of food, household products and other services.

For March 2022, the Dane reported that inflation was 8.53 percent per year. Now, there are certain items that put pressure on the inflation figures in the country during the month of March.
Stand out among the upward contributions, in the first place, the meals in self-service and table-service establishments. Also, means of transportation, vending machines, mobile stalls, and places of entertainment. In turn, meals contracted to order, to take away, for home delivery are included; which contributed 0.09% to March inflation.
To these is added rice, which had a contribution of 0.7%. After the products of cleaning and maintenance, with 0.05%. In turn, there is the imputed rent, which is what the owners of the property expect to receive as rent to cover its maintenance, with contributions of 0.04%.
Finally there is electricity with 0.04%
On the other hand, the items that subtracted the most from inflation during March were clothing for women and men, with -0.04% each. Then there is gas with -0.2%, pork and derivatives with -0.01% and complete tourist packages with -0.01%.

Now, the Dane also released the annual pressures. What contributed the most increases in the Whole year was:
1. Meals in self-service and table-service establishments, means of transportation, vending machines, mobile stalls, and places of entertainment; Those contracted to order, to take away and for home delivery are also included, which contributed 0.92 percent to the annual variation in inflation.
2. Beef and its derivatives: 0.67 percent.
3. Electricity: 0.43 percent.
4. Imputed rent: 0.34 percent
5. Potatoes: 0.33 percent

On the other hand, what most subtracted from inflation in the full year was:
1. Fixed and mobile communication services and internet provision: -0.45 percent.
2. Women’s clothing: -0.06 percent.
3. Enrollment and enrollment in technical, technological and university careers: -0.05 percent.
4. Mobile phone equipment, similar and repair: -0.03 percent.
5. Hardware and information processing devices: -0.02 percent.
