In his message as representative of the governor, Juan José Álvarez, secretary of Tourism, highlighted the contribution of cultural and artistic activities for the tourist and economic reactivation of the state of Guanajuato.
“In Guanajuato tourism recovery has been very important, thanks to society and these events. In the first quarter of the year we have already received more than 8 million visitors, which means 36% more than in the same period last year; which has generated an economic benefit of 17 billion pesos”, revealed the official.
