This weekend a friendly Short-Stage Football match will be held in the city of Santa Cruz. Bolivia will receive a visit from Argentina, on Saturday, September 7 at the John Píctor Blanco Coliseum.

The meeting will start at 17:00 and it will be the rematch of the visit that the Verde made to the Albiceleste last year, which they won.

The Bolivian team began its concentration on Tuesday and also started his training sessions at the same venue where he will face Argentina on Saturday.

This friendly will serve as preparation for the Bolivian team, with a view to the Copa America to be held in the first quarter of next year, with location and date to be determined.

The Bolivian coach Carlos Alberto Trujillo called up 15 players, from different departments of the country, for this international clash.

The Argentine delegation is scheduled to arrive in Santa Cruz on Friday at dawn. The Albiceleste’s trip will be made by land.

Until a few weeks ago there was a possibility that this clash between the Bolivian and Argentinean teams would become a triangular, because Brazil was interested in taking part in the event.

“This match is revenge for the friendly we played in Argentina a year ago. The possibility of a triangular tournament with Brazil was open, but the team from that country did not receive support to be able to travel to Santa Cruz,” said Olivia Ojopi, coordinator of the Bolivian Short-Stage Soccer team.

Tickets cost Bs 5 and children under 10 years old can enter for free.
