The hotel sector adapts to the new profile of post-pandemic travelers

This is how he explained it to The Economist the Director of Marketing (CMO) of City Express Hotels, Paulina Mendoza, after the commissioning of the City Express Plus Providencia hotel in the financial area of Guadalajara.

Paulina Mendoza commented that, previously, this hotel chain received mostly people who stayed alone, but currently, they usually travel with their families and, particularly with children, which led the company to install furniture with sufficient capacity for accommodate your clothes and other belongings.

“Previously we focused on the business traveler, but now, the new hotel concept and the new locations are due to the fact that we are also looking for the leisure traveler,” said Mendoza.

For his part, the hotel manager, Jorge Tinajero, explained that there are ten different types of rooms; It has 16 suites with minibar and microwave oven, and some have a terrace with a view of the financial area.
