The electoral campaign enters the final stretch with an uncertain result yet. As an opinionologist said, in the first round we will choose Parliament and in the second president, and I add, hopefully.
The Maduro and Antimasist electorate already has almost defined his vote, ironically where there are greater doubts is in the Masism that remains and in the disappointed Masism, that the percentage of undecided, null and white, lately, lately as perverse slogan of Morales Ayma.
But in all cases, there is a citizenship with ambivalent feelings, complains about the crisis but rejects hard measures to conjure it, knows that they are necessary but surely will ask for an economic miracle from the new government. Although the current situation is unsustainable, it will not contribute to guaranteeing governance, indispensable for the next government but especially for our beaten country, not only to travel to the ‘Venezuelan’ but of succumbing as a nation.
It is seen that it will be in the Parliament where the main battles must be fought to rebuild everything destroyed in recent decades, through creative or modifying legislation, so the selection of senators and deputies who face as fundamental as urgent task was vital.
That is why it is to regret that the organizations and alliances that struggle today in the elections, have followed the same wrong path of the management that concludes. Whether due to current regulations or due to lack of initiative, it is seen that the lists have been prepared under the same molds, nothing was learned from the bad recent experiences, full of ignorance, mediocrity, transfuge, violence and trafficking of votes, conjugated in a set of what the people call ‘lift hands’, by candidates without more trajectory than the easy neighborhood popularity, the compadrazgo or the family Group, without any attachment to suitability and values, and even close to a professional or personal career based on capacity and morals. And in the middle, a lost and immobilized minority in the Disaster Maremagnum.
That is what was neither foresee nor learned in the present electoral process: that wise thought that says ‘do not expect the situation to change if you do the same thing was not considered.’
We are coming difficult times without any doubt. Innovation recovering the institutionality according to the times that the world lives will mean affecting the well -known interests of groups and people with power that will corcovear; Taking the appropriate economic measures to the recovery of the country to achieve balance and stability and overcome the unbroken crisis will be more than difficult because it will affect both the vulnerable population and the middle class, but also because in the streets and in the Parliament the irresponsible will be the irresponsible moreism by closing without truce the bonfire of failure as always.
For all that and more, it would be healthy that serious and solid candidates begin to create collective awareness of the commitment of each of the Bolivians with the survival of the homeland as the future to offer our children and their children. Tell the voters who are choosing a transition government, that hard measures are unavoidable but with a horizon of hope. Leaving the old practices of saying what people want to hear, lying to capture votes to how to give rise, because after all, it will be like throwing a boomeran that will hit them sooner rather than later.
The non -serious candidates who only look for a place to make subsequent gross negotiations in exchange for a parliamentary vote must be unmasked in the remainder of campaigning to defeat them before they harm.
Then, we face together the challenge of the historical hour present or we all sink.
