He Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet) issued a special notice for a heat wave that will affect a large part of the country between this Saturday, February 11 and this Monday, February 13.
According to the agency, a “warm air mass will affect the region, generating extreme temperatures minimum equal to or greater than 20-22°C and maximum equal to or greater than 36-37°C until Monday 13″.

Recommendations to face the heat wave
The National Emergency System (Sinae) launched recommendations to the population to get through the heat wave as best as possible.
