The harsh criticism of The Economist to the Government of Gustavo Petro

The Economist, one of the most prestigious media in the world and generator of opinion for political leaders and businessmen, He launched a harsh criticism of the Government of President Gustavo Petro and pointed out that “his goal of total peace seems unattainable.”

The magazine recounted the actions that have marked these months of President Petro’s term, highlighting the increase in violence that the country has experienced, especially at the hands of the ELN.

Consequently, the outlet noted that “total peace seems more like a slogan than an achievable goal.”
