Social organizations presented a detailed report to the IACHR, which highlights the 11% increase in poverty and more than six points in indigence during the first half of 2024. In addition, they denounced the elimination of the Social Monotax and the decoupling of the Complementary Social Wage from the increase in the Minimum Living and Mobile Wage, which has left many families without the necessary resources to cover their basic needs.
