This Friday, the Government will announce the increase corresponding to the Mobility Law that applies to retired and pensioners of the ANSES (National Administration of Social Security).
According to estimates, the increase for retired and pensioners will be around 17% and would be applied from March. Said increase would be in force for a period of three months, when the Mobility Law will be updated again, which governs the assets of this population.
If the increase is 17%, the minimum wages for the retired and pensioners could remain at $58,645 for the next three months. However, this will depend on what the Government determines.
To calculate the increase in retirement mobility, the evolution of salaries last December will be taken into account, data that will be published today by the INDEC (National Institute of Statistics and Censuses).
It should be remembered that in December, the increase for retired was 15.62% and that, parallel to this, the Government announced the payment of a bonus for those who receive the minimum wage, so it is not ruled out that this measure will be implemented again.
In case there is a bonus, the total income could be as high as $70,000 for the lowest holdings. This is so that this group does not lose purchasing power against inflation.
The increase stipulated this Friday will also affect the assets of non-contributory pensions, family allowances and other social benefits of the ANSES, that is to say that the decision will reach some 17 million people.
