Economy Minister Sergio Massa announced that a program will be announced on Friday at noon so that 1,400 products “maintain their prices for four months.”
In this price agreement with the companies “there will be top-brand products, but also goods produced by the supermarkets themselves that want to compete,” Massa said tonight in statements to the Todo Noticias channel.
In addition, Massa explained that the sale of dollars carried out by the Central Bank in recent days is due to the fact that “energy imports ended in September, but we still have to finish paying” for those purchases.
“We are going to end (the year) with a higher level of reserves than the current ones,” the official said.

Massa revealed that when he took over the portfolio, at the beginning of August there was “a projected fiscal deficit of 12.4%, negative reserves and all financial dollars above $350”.
“The situation is still not comfortable, it is critical and that is why we ask for austerity in spending, and we concentrate investment decisions in the Ministry of Finance,” said Massa.
