The Government reached a consensus on the increase in tariffs with the IMF

The whole country is waiting to know what the final agreement will be government hold with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to refinance 44 billion dollars of debt.

In this sense, the negotiations between the executive and the organism advance, and it was confirmed that the government finally reached a consensus on the increase in gas and electricity rates.

The announcement was made by presidential spokeswoman Gabriela Cerruti at a press conference, who stated that the government set an increase based on “a segmentation scheme into three levels of users.”
