The Government puts hundreds of properties that belong to the State up for sale

He government has announced a significant measure that seeks to reduce the size of the State and generate additional income: the sale of more than 400 properties that belong to the national State. This decision, made official through Decree 950/2024, aims to raise approximately 800 million dollars through the public auction of real estate throughout the country.

The State Asset Administration Agency (AABE) will be in charge of carrying out this sales process. According to the decree of governmentthe measure is justified by the need to reduce “unnecessary expenses” and improve the efficiency of the State. The properties that will be put up for sale include public buildings, railway properties, surfaces adjacent to national routes and land in rural areas, among others.
