It should be remembered that the second phase of the program includes 15 sectors of the economy with a price increase guideline of 3.2% per month until June 30. These represent “86% of the products that Argentines consume,” according to Massa.
He also explained: “As seen in the first stage of the program, there are 2,000 products that will continue to have a fixed price, which is what allows the worker to take care of his salary when choosing on the supermarket gondola.”
In the same way as in the first phase, citizens will be able to compare the prices of the products through an application, where they can also denounce if there are irregularities in the program.
Through this program, the Government hopes “to bring stability to prices, reduce inflationary expectations and recover the purchasing power of Argentines and Argentines”.
