In this regard, the provincial security minister, Héctor Miguel Castro, indicated: “Fortunately we do not have evacuees or serious cases.” In addition, he added: “The storm has been very strong and I can attest to that because I have lived in Cholila for 25 years and rarely in my life have I seen so much accumulated snow, but everything is being solved thanks to the commitment of state workers, especially , from the area of public services”.
Castro in turn explained: “The crews had to focus on the task of energizing several towns that had been left without power and consequently stopped making water drinkable and were cut off from mobile telephony, but everything is recovering little by little.”
In addition, National Roads personnel with the support of the Undersecretary of Civil Protection and the Directorate of Forests They work to unblock the routes that today remain covered with snow.
