“In the 14 regions where the establishments had scheduled two weeks of vacation, now they will have three. This will apply from the regions of Arica and Parinacota to Los Lagos. In all of them, the vacations will begin on Thursday, June 30, and classes will resume on Monday, July 25,” he added.
In turn, he indicated that the regions of Aysén and Magallanes will maintain their three-week vacations, being between Thursday, July 7 and Monday, August 1.

Preschool Education
The minister indicated that the pre-school educational centers of the Integra, Junji and VTF foundations will also anticipate their winter vacations, which will be between June 30 and July 25, “given the urgency of taking special care of this segment of students, between 0 and 6 years old”.
In Aysén and Magallanes, the same dates will be maintained as in the other educational facilities.
Finally, they pointed out that the food provided by Junaeb will remain active during the extra vacation days. “This means that rations will be delivered between Thursday, June 30 and Friday, July 8 in the regions where we have announced the extension,” closed the head of the Ministry of Education.
