Recently, the Government, through the Secretary of Domestic Trade, confirmed that the now 12 will remain in force; however, interest rates for purchases will be modified.
In this sense, from now on, the Annual Nominal Rate (TNA) for payments in 3, 6 and 12 fixed installments of the now 12 will be 42%, while those who make purchases in 18 and 24 fixed installments will represent 49%, according to the changes established to the program.
“This adaptation responds to the growth that the program has had now 12 and, in view of its sustainability, according to the recent evolution of the Central Bank’s monetary policy rates of the Argentine Republic and the State policy of tending to the harmonization of interest rates” according to the Secretariat.
In this way, the Government extends the validity of the program and meets the demands of businesses in order to promote domestic consumption, because, despite the increase, the rates managed by the campaign are lower than the rest of the market.
“In order to continue promoting the expansion of investment, production and consumption of families and at the same time establishing harmonization with the rate structure of the system in order to strengthen exchange stability, the rates of the Now 12 program are readjusted,” he assured. the portfolio led by Guillermo Hang.
In this sense, these modifications seek to “promote the consumption of goods and services of national production, through the making of purchases with a credit card, in 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 installments”.
The Government also recalled that “the program works seven days a week and all products and services can be purchased online and at participating stores throughout the country.”

Through this Programthe best-selling products are from Appliances, appliances, computers, notebooks and tablets, mattresses, furniture, construction materials and tools, bicycles, clothing and footwear.
Thanks to this, between January and April of this year, operations for $411,677 million pesos were registered with an average receipt of $17,585, which translates into 24.9 million purchases.
