The Government remains firm in the decision to deport undocumented Haitians, despite the claims of the UN, an international organization that requires the authorities to stop the expulsion of the aforementioned foreigners in the midst of the referred situation.

Added to these pressures was the United States embassy, which in a statement issued on Saturday alerted the citizens of their country about the problems they could face in Dominican territory, if they are confused with Haitians.
