The national government affirmed that some journalistic media broadcast this Thursday “wrongly and maliciously false information based on the affidavits presented in a timely manner” by Executive officials and stressed that President Alberto Fernández “has made decency and austerity pillars of his career”.
“Some media outlets have mistakenly and maliciously disseminated false information this Thursday based on the Sworn Statements presented in a timely manner publicly by government officials before the Anti-Corruption Office (OA) in compliance with the Law,” it was noted. in a statement released by the spokesperson for the Presidency, Gabriela Cerruti.
The text indicates that what is presented as “growth” or “tripling” of the wealth of the President and some of his officials, “is simply the change of tax valuation that was arranged in real estate with residence in the City of Buenos Aires“.
“All citizens who own real estate in the City of Buenos Aires have a significant increase in the valuation of their assets as a result of the value that the AFIP takes as of this year’s presentation,” says the Presidency statement.
In that sense, it was recalled that “the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) has decided to take this year the same indicator that the AGIP of the City of Buenos Aires takes to design the ABL on real estate.”
“It is what is called the homogeneous value, which multiplies by four the fiscal value. This modification is the one that should have been applied in the affidavits this year for the first time and causes the modification of amounts that do not reflect any increase due to the incorporation of other assets,” the national government clarified.
“President Alberto Fernández has made decency and austerity pillars of his personal career and his government. We urge the media not to promote erroneous analyzes that seek only to generate discomfort in the population,” said the text released by Cerruti.
