This was agreed by Cabandié during a meeting with Governor Gustavo Valdés at the Government House of the province.
The meeting aimed to articulate and coordinate the operation and the disposition of the resources in the provincial territoryreported a statement from the environmental portfolio.
The sending of funds by the national government is part of article 31 of Law No. 26,815 on Fire Management and is added to the resources already deployed by the Nation in the territory: 12 aerial means, 188 brigade members and support staffin addition to fire trucks, heavy machinery, communications truck and mobile support.
The province promised that the use of the funds will be rendered according to the request and norms established by the environmental portfolio in the conditions and terms indicated for this purpose, the official information added.
Minister Cabandie remains in Corrientes to tour the areas affected by forest fires.
This morning, the national official, together with the Secretary for Military Coordination in Emergencies of the Ministry of Defense, Inés Barboza, flew over the area of San Alonzo and they were in the brigade camp located in the town of San Miguelwhere the Emergency Operations Command of the National Fire Management Service works.
Also in the afternoon, Cabandié and Barboza participated in a meeting at the Ministry of Coordination and Planning of the province, where the Logisticsprovisioning and addressing of the joint actions between the different provincial areas that converge within the framework of this fire emergency.
They are also found in the fire zone of the province of Corrientes; the secretary of Environmental Control and Monitoring, Sergio Federovsky; the director of the National Fire Management Service (SNMF), Alberto Seufferheld, the director of Planning and Prevention of the SMNF, Jorge Heider; the pampas coordinator of the SNMF, Florencia Tuñón and the NEA coordinator of the SNMF, Luis Besold, concluded the environmental portfolio.
