A total of 70 drug packages were seized during a procedure carried out in Táchira and Falcón, according to reports from the Bolivarian National Guard.
One of the operations was carried out in El Perolino, a sector of the Ayacucho municipality (San Juan de Colón), Táchira, where 41 blocks of cocaine were seized, weighing 43 kilos 550 grams, according to a report from Detachment 231 of the GNB.
The panels were transported in a Ford with license plate A16AX9S, driven by Luis Armando Barrios, who was arrested. This subject came from Colombia and was heading to the state of Sucre.
In the La Enramada sector, Mauroa municipality (Falcón), the military located 25 blocks of marijuana that weighed a total of 12 kilos 500 grams, according to the minutes of Detachment 131 of the aforementioned military component. The stash was found abandoned on the shore of a beach in the sector, says the report.
In another procedure, Katiuska Meneslao was arrested, who had a marijuana block attached to her body, which weighed 740 grams.
Katiuska was arrested at the Citizen Service Point, located in La Romana, Piar municipality (Upata), Bolívar state, where the military inspected a public transport unit heading to El Callao (Bolívar).
In a wooded area of the Pedro Camejo municipality (San Juan de Payara), Apure state, the military immobilized an aircraft, which was used by drug trafficking groups and also for the transport of irregulars and weapons.
