Six members of criminal groups were killed during various armed confrontations, according to military sources.
Two of those killed are members of the criminal group Yonathan El Gallero, who confronted officials of the National Anti-exortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) in the Botalón sector, Simón Bolívar municipality (Barcelona), Anzoátegui state. The subjects are known by the nicknames of Manuelin and La Tirna.
After the confrontation, the military collected two 380 caliber pistols, a Horse motorcycle without license plates, two pistol magazines, two radio transmitters and ten 380 caliber cartridges, the source explained.
Two other men were killed in the La Cabrera sector, Tomás Lander municipality (Ocumare del Tuy), Miranda state, who were identified as Miguel José Morales Guzmán (El Miguelito) and Carl Anthony Castillo Mogollón (El Tony). At the site, the military seized a 12-gauge shotgun, a Laredo 12-gauge shotgun, and four cartridges of the same caliber.
Another person killed in a confrontation with Conas agents is a subject known by the alias El Tico, a member of the organization Los Pañoletas Rojas. This procedure occurred in the Maremare sector, Rivero municipality (Cariaco), Sucre state, where officials collected a .38 caliber revolver, Smith & Wesson brand, 4 .38 caliber cartridges and a radio transmitter.
And in the El Curarire sector, La Cañada de Urdaneta municipality, Zulia state, officials from GNB Detachment 114 held an armed confrontation with unknown subjects, where Edwin Alexander Báez Báez, alias El Tatoo, who fired a 22-caliber Sontheim revolver, was killed. says the report.
In the areas adjacent to Sal Bahía, Puerto Cabello (Carabobo), a commission attached to the Carabobo Police Motorized Brigade, held a confrontation with members of the Maykel El Seco gang, dedicated to collecting vaccines and kidnappings.
One of the subjects was badly injured and was transferred to the “Doctor Adolfo Prince Lara” hospital where he died minutes after his admission. The man is known by the pseudonym El Romerito, who was found in that place.
