Looking ahead to the general elections on November 14, the Front of All prepares a massive event based in Lanús and date for next Saturday, November 6. In addition to serving as the closing of the campaign, the great event will mean a show of support for President Alberto Fernández and also of unity and federalism within the party itself.
In principle, the efforts of the officialdom will be focused on the first and third electoral sections of the Province of Buenos Aires and the eight provinces that will elect senators (Tucumán, Catamarca, Córdoba, Corrientes, La Pampa, Mendoza, Chubut and Santa Fe). It will depend on the latter if the Front of All lose or not the quorum in the Upper House.
According to Jorge Capitanich, governor of Chaco, “the entire leadership of the country will be present to prop up the victory of the Front of All“Although the information that Alberto Fernández will attend the event has emerged, there is still nothing official. Meanwhile, there is also no certain information regarding whether the Vice President of the Nation, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, will participate.
What has to happen for the ruling party to retain management in the Chambers
At the national level, the Government seeks to reduce differences and they hope to do so from the recovery of provinces where they lost by few votes or in which the opposition suffered a vision. In accordance with the expectations of the Frente de Todos, the objective is to add in Tierra del Fuego, Misiones, San Luis, Neuquén, Chaco, Río Negro and La Pampa.
Secondly, in the Province of Buenos Aires they aspire to recover the votes of the people who did not do so in the primaries. If all the last results are repeated, the Frente de Todos would be eleven of its own quorum in the Chamber of Deputies. In turn, in the Senate they would only need one to reach a majority. With the idea that the latter does not happen, the ruling party points to Chubut and La Pampa as keys.
