The former director of the FBI, James Comey, reacts to accusations of a large jury

The former director of the FBI, James Comey, declared that “he is not afraid” in a video posted on his Instagram in response to his formal accusation for two positions.

Comey was formally accused of a grand jury in the East district of Virginia for a position of false statements and a position of obstruction of justice for allegedly lying to Congress under oath.

The news was known a few days after President Donald Trump urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to process Comey and other enemies of his own profile.

In a publication in Truth Social, the president said: “PAM: I have reviewed more than 30 statements and publications that essentially say“ the same story of the last time: only words, no action. Nothing is being done. And what about Comey, Adam “Shifty” Schiff and Leticia? They are all guilty, but nothing is going to be done. ”

Comey, meanwhile, said: “My family and I have known for years to face Donald Trump has a price […]. We will not live on the knees, and you should not do it either. ”

“Someone whom I love very much said that fear is the tool of a tyrant, and he is right. But I am not afraid and I hope you either. I hope, however, that they are committed. They are paying attention. And that they vote as if their beloved country depended on it, and so it is.”

“My heart hurts by the Department of Justice, but I have great confidence in the federal judicial system and I am innocent,”

“So let’s celebrate a trial and keep the faith,” he concluded.
