The First Meeting of Women Leaders with Disabilities was held

The National Secretariat for Disability (SENADIS) held the First meeting of women leaders with disabilities, Karen Jaramillo, director of Promotion and Citizen Participation, detailed on Radio Panama what was carried out in this event.

«We wanted to do something different with women leaders with disabilities, we did workshops on gender violence with the Ministry of Women, we also exhibited personal growth, a Psychology workshop, we wanted to work on various points and that women with disabilities also have that potential to develop, to grow to new opportunities”, explained Jaramillo.

This workshop was held on March 31 in the capital city with more than 50 women with disabilities between visual, physical and hearing, now this event will be taken to different provinces of the interior to impact more women, which is the purpose of this event.
