For date 13 of the Apertura Tournament, Libertad (1st) defends his position as leader of the championship this afternoon (17:30) in a visit to the Ka’arendy stadium of Juan León Mallorquín against the needy General Caballero (11th).
Gumarelo, who arrives after a valuable victory for the Copa Libertadores against Athletico Paranaense, this Saturday will return to the local tournament where they will seek to secure the leadership for another day.
As far as the Apertura is concerned, those led by Daniel Garnero reunited with victory on matchday 12 by thrashing Itauguá 4-0 on October 12 to reach 29 points.
On the other hand, General Caballero fell in his most recent match against Ceará of Brazil (0-2) in Asunción and was heavily relegated in the fight for qualification for the next round of the Conmebol Sudamericana.
