In order to intensify and streamline the agricultural production, the Special Fund for Agricultural Development (FEDA) will hold a seminar on training in 40 communities simultaneously aimed at small and medium producers benefiting from technical and financial assistance by the government, through this organization.
The FEDA management, headed by Hecmilio Galvan, has made changes in the institution by instructions of the president Louis Abinader, seeking greater efficiency that contributes to a substantial increase in the productive volume of the agricultural.
The central theme of the seminar Principles of Management for Agricultural Projects deals with the application of the basic principles of management in productive projects.

The activity is part of President Abinader’s vision of development, for which he has decided to relaunch the FEDA, with the purpose of rescuing the projects, creating new ones and putting them in a position to promote the development of the countryside so that it multiplies the job creation and wealth in agricultural production.
Training producers is important for them to increase the cost effectiveness of the projects, that think like agricultural entrepreneurs, that change their socioeconomic life system and contribute to the development of their communities, said Galván.
In the sheep and goat project, the FEDA It will improve the genetics of these animals so that breeders can have better economic benefits.
On February 4, President Abinader will deliver the first 150 loans to breeders of Sabana Yegua, from Azua. In this act, the plan for the repopulation and development of sheep and goats will be launched.
The training to producers It will be held simultaneously in La Vega, Bonao, Moca, Santiago, Nagua, Hato Mayor, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, San Juan de la Maguana, Azua, Barahona and San Cristóbal, among others.
