The FdT remains on alert and calls for a new meeting in Santiago del Estero

The Front of All (FdT) expressed solidarity with the Vice President of the Nation, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, for “the harassment and political, judicial and media persecution against her person and her family”in the midst of a judicial process that is “flawed, with an absence of evidence, partiality on the part of the court and violation of the principle of innocence”.

This was stated by the ruling coalition through a statement that was published at the end of the Council of the Justicialist Partywhere he also repudiated “the provocations carried out by the Head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, and the City Police”, on Saturday in the Recoleta neighborhood, “by placing fences, repression with gas and hydrant trucks and physical violence towards citizens who freely wish to demonstrate in public space”.

The meeting

The plenary was held at Headquarters of the PJ at Calle Matheu 130with the presence of the president Alberto Fernandezto analyze the steps to follow after the mobilizations in support of the vice president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchnerafter the request for conviction in the Vialidad case.

The parties that make up the FdT also participated, with their respective representatives, such as Pablo Mirolo for the Renovating Front, Mario Secco for the Great Front, Martín Sabbatella for Nuevo Encuentro and Diana Conti of the Victory Party.

They were also present Gustavo López de Forja, Carlos Junio ​​of the Solidarity Party, Luis D’Elía de Miles and Claudio Lozano of Popular Unity.

Alberto Fernández, head of Justicialismo, returned to Buenos Aires from San Carlos de Bariloche and immediately went to the party headquarters, where he arrived at 7:31 p.m., and was in charge of the closing speech of the Council.

The meeting was initially scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m., but a large group of legislators also arrived late since they had just come from the meeting with Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in Congress.

In the document, the FdT condemned “the violence exerted” by the Buenos Aires Police “against the president of the Buenos Aires Justicialist Party” and national deputy, Máximo Kirchner, “a fact that shows the absence of democratic principles and values ​​in the conduct of the police” , they remarked.

In addition, they rejected “the arrest of people for expressing a political idea” and described as “inadmissible” the attitude of the opposition in requesting a political trial against Alberto Fernández “for having expressed his condemnation of the judicial and media persecution against the vice president.”

They demanded “the cessation of the filming of demonstrators and the homes of political leaders since there is no reasonableness or conflict that justifies it” and requested that the images already filmed “be delivered to the Justice in the cases in progress”, and that the Ministry of Justice and Security of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires “immediately destroy your copy”.

“This political, media and judicial scandal is nothing other than the lawfare that plagues all the progressive forces in Latin America”, they marked and recalled the cases of “the impeachment of Dilma (Rousseff) and the arrest of Lula (Da Silva); the coup and persecution of Evo (Morales) in Bolivia; the banning of Rafael Correa in Ecuador”.

The call to Santiago del Estero

Finally, through the statement they invited the militancy to join the new Council of the PJ and the FdT in Santiago del Estero on September 9, which will be held in a framework of “alert and mobilization”, and will continue with meetings at different points from the country.

Also in attendance were the Chief of Staff, John Manzur; the Minister of Foreign Relations and Secretary General of the PJ, Santiago Cafiero; the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro; Defense Minister Jorge Taiana; and the comptroller of the AFI, Agustín Rossi.

Upon leaving the meeting, Rossi assured the press that he was present that “the Council decided to maintain a state of alert and mobilization, encouraging all mobilizations that take place throughout the country.”

“The Council is going to start carrying out different activities in all the provinces, traveling and holding meetings in the provincial councils of the PJ, starting on September 9 in Santiago del Estero at the proposal of José Neder”, deputy governor of the province, explained Rossi, and stressed that during the meeting “the issue of the march was not discussed.”

For her part, Taiana referred to the case called Vilalidad: “It is not a new or unique fact, but it has become very evident. Prosecutor Luciani’s accusation is not very serious, without foundation. This reality degrades democracy,” he said.

And D’Elía added: “Cristina deserves the full support of the Argentine people for having given us the 12 years of greatest accumulation and advancement of the working class in the last 70 years.”

Along the same lines, Darío Martínez, former Secretary of Energy, pointed out: “The people do not forget everything that Cristina did, and this mess that is happening with Justice. A circus is being built about this, without any proof. It is important that the PJ support the vice president, but above all that the people support her”.

Meanwhile, the national deputy for San Juan José Luis Gioja repudiated during the meeting “the provocation exercised by the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, and his police from the City of Buenos Aires”, on Saturday in the Recoleta neighborhood , which was followed by applause from those present.

Also participating in the plenary were Lucía Corpaci, Verónica Magario, Victoria Tolosa Paz, Ricardo Quintela, Eduardo Valdés, Juan Manuel Olmos, Germán Martínez, Sergio Berni, Carlos Heller, Mario Secco, Hugo Yasky and Pablo Moyanoamong others.

They also participated virtually Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez, Axel Kicillof, Oscar Laborde, Dilma Rousseff, Evo Morales, Ernesto Samperamong other regional leaders.

In addition, the Río Negro FdT bloc condemned “the violent police action ordered by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta against militants in support of the former president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner”, through a draft Declaration, it was officially reported.
