Reinaldo Rueda will leave the Technical Directorate of the Colombian National Team, after a terrible campaign that left him out of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

This Monday the Colombian Football Federation notified the country of the departure of Reinaldo Rueda, as DT of the tricolor.
According to the institution: “It was agreed with the teacher his dismissal from the position” of the Senior Men’s National Team.
“We express to Professor Rueda and his collaborators our most sincere wishes for success in their future work and in their personal projects, but not without also expressing our appreciation for their dedication and work,” reads the release.
Rueda arrived in Colombia, from Chile where he directed the ‘red’ of that country, in January 2021.
There were no goals, important games lost, his apparent ‘trouble’ with some players made a dent under his direction.
He leaves this Monday with his coaching staff.
