Senator Juan Carlos Galaverna spoke about the challenges of the elected government and the outgoing administration of Mario Abdo. He also referred to the formation of red benches.
For his 34 years of parliamentary activity, which will end on July 1, since he did not run again, Juan Carlos Galaverna shared a massive dinner with his co-religionists and friends, to, at the same time, celebrate the victory in the last elections.
“With more than 50 years of political management, I was not spared from the anxiety of the final stretch of the campaign, the same anxiety of 50 years ago”, Calé Galaverna confessed, in an interview with Universo 970 AM radio, emphasizing that he will only abandon parliamentary life, not politics.
Regarding the most immediate challenges that the elected government will have, he said that, making money reach people’s pockets is the most urgent. May macroeconomics be well complemented and even surpassed by microeconomics. “With money in their pocket, people are more motivated, more stimulated and more committed to work”, he claimed.

Regarding the transition and the expectation of finding the coffers in solid conditions, he recalled that many remember when Nicanor received the Government of González Macchi with an empty box, however, few mention that Horacio Cartes took office in a much worse situation.
Regarding the formation of the bench for the new period that begins on July 1, Calé explained that the party statute clearly establishes that, once the internal ones are over, the movements disappear.
