Next Sunday, the country prepares for the national elections, while political parties intensify their campaign closing strategies in various locations.
The Frente Amplio will carry out its final act on Tuesday the 22nd at 7 p.m. in Parque Batlle in Montevideo. The event, which will be held in front of the Velodrome on Ramón Benzano Avenue, will have access from the Centenario Stadium. During the day, the formula composed of Yamandú Orsi and Carolina Cosse will address those present, accompanied by an artistic show that will include performances by La Deskarga and Rubén Rada.
Meanwhile, the National Party will organize its closing campaign in Las Piedras, in the department of Canelones, at 7:30 p.m. on Avenida Artigas, where the formula of Álvaro Delgado and Valeria Ripoll will also take the floor. This past Sunday, the party held an event in Montevideo that included a festive caravan at the Punta Carretas lighthouse, with a musical performance by Lucas Sugo.
For its part, the Colorado Party chose not to hold a traditional closing ceremony. On Saturday, they held an event at the Montevideo Music Box, where the formula of Andrés Ojeda and Robert Silva was presented to supporters.
