At each stop, the formula will meet with citizens and activists to exchange ideas and strengthen the presence of the left-wing coalition in the communities.
On Friday, August 30, activities will begin in the department of Florida. “At 9:30 a.m., the formula will greet the neighbors and will carry out a caravan through MEVIR in Sarandí Grande, ending at the Club 12 de Octubre,” located at Artigas 751. Then, at 11:10 a.m., they will head to La Cruz, where they will participate in a meeting at the Comité Julio Castro, located at the intersection of 18 de Julio and Varela. The day will continue at 12:00 p.m. in the city of Florida with a press conference at the Democratic Club.
In the afternoon, activities will continue in other towns in Florida. At 1:00 p.m., the formula will move to 25 de Mayo, where it will meet with supporters at La Vieja Escuela, on the corner of Otilia Rolin and Artigas. Later, at 3:00 p.m., there will be a “greeting to the militancy in the Sonia Hernández de Cardal Committee” and a visit to Centenario Park, which houses a commemorative plaque of the beginning of the Ceibal Plan. At 4:00 p.m., the inauguration of the “Eduardo de León” grassroots committee will take place in Independencia, at the intersection of Route 77 and 3rd Street. The day will conclude at 5:00 p.m. with a tour of the town of 25 de Agosto, where a rally will be held and a message will be broadcast in Area 5, between Calleros, Beduchant and 25 de Mayo.
On Saturday, August 31, the activities will move to Montevideo. The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Cerro, with a meeting at the “Club Tito Borjas”, located on the corner of Bélgica and Gibraltar. Then, at 11:30 a.m., the team will visit La Teja, where they will meet at the Club de Bochas Laureles, at Carlos María Ramírez 1118, between Concordia and Camambú.
On Sunday, September 1, the Frente Amplio will mobilize to Canelones. At 11:00 a.m., the members of the formula will be present at the “Lomas de Solymar Fair, in Giannattasio and Médanos.” Later, at 12:30 p.m., they will participate in the Pinamar Sur Fair, located in Zorrilla de San Martín and Av. de Acceso. In case of rain, both meetings will be moved to the Pinamar Club at 11:30 a.m., on Av. Nogueira and Calle 2.
